Please add Bud to your prayers. He will have a bone marrow biopsy Monday, the 9th. We pray that no cancer is found.
Update:
All tests were fine.
Lisa found her dog, Mo, having seizures and after getting help from the vet's office to get him from under a bush in the yard and to the vet found that he had a fever, dangerously low blood sugar, high white blood count, and was dehydrated. All of us who have pets know that they are just like our children, and it is upsetting when they are ill.
Update:
Mo went to heaven as we know all dogs go to heaven!
Please pray for the Montenegro family. Their five year old daughter was run over and killed yesterday by a UPS truck. Also, pray for the UPS driver who has to be very distraught as well. Please pray for God's peace, strength and mercy for these families. Thank you, Willetta
Doug’s dad is having surgery in the morning at 7:30. His odds with the surgery are not that good. Maybe 50/50. If you could please send this to your list, I will be forever grateful. We need all the prayers we can get tonight and tomorrow. In Christ, Debbie
Update:
I want to thank each of you for your prayers for Doug’s dad. He came through the surgery great. Instead of the 5-6 hour we were expecting, he was in recovery after 2 hours. Praise God for answered prayers. He is spending the night in SICU but will probably be moved into a room tomorrow. They have checked him and he has feeling in his legs and feet. His vitals are good though they are keeping him slightly sedated tonight. May each of you rejoice for the miracles God still does!!! Thank you again and may God Bless each and every one of you! In Christ’s precious name, Debbie
Another Update:
I Also want to thank everyone who prayed for Doug’s dad two weeks ago. He is still PRAISING God for his miracle to anyone who will listen. The pain is all gone and the sickness is also all gone. He is eating anything he wants after months of not being able to keep much of anything down.
The following attached email is from our school secretary. Her son was paralyzed from the neck down some years ago; his name is Wesley. (You can go to www.unlimitedoutdoors.net to read about him, if I haven't sent you that site before. His story is incredible. Love, Beth
I wanted to share something with you and ask a favor. My Mama has Parkinson. She is in a nursing home, and we were told last week that she is beginning the last stages. She is beginning to have difficulty swallowing. If she lives long enough, we will have to make the decision whether or not to tube feed her. She is so pitiful now and spends the majority of the time in bed. She also has dementia which comes with the Parkinson. The favor is that you pray for us to make the right decision if that time comes. But most of all please pray that, of course, God's Will be done and that He will be merciful and take Mama home before she gets to the point where she cannot swallow. Thank you ahead of time for your prayers. May God bless each of you. Sherry
I have a prayer request I need each of you to keep on your minds tonight and tomorrow. A dear lady I go to Church with is having surgery tomorrow on her back. Her name is Mary. I ask that each of you pray that God’s will be done. We will give God all the praises and glory for what he does for Mary tomorrow. God told us all we have to do is ask in his son’s name and it would be given. I am standing on his promises and I pray that you will do the same. I want to Thank God for all he does and I also want to thank each of you for whatever you do concerning this request. I thank each of you in advance because of my trust in God. It is a blessed assurance to have friends you can call on when in need of prayer. I know that this request will not fall on deaf ears and that prayers create MIRACLES!!! May God Bless each of you. Your sister in Christ, Debbie
Update:
I also want to let everyone know that the prayer request I sent out last night for Mary Harmon was answered and she was at home resting this afternoon. Thank God for Good Reports!!!
Please add Gene to your prayer list. He got the results from an x-ray, and they found a spot on his lung and a growth in his body. Next Thursday he goes to the Heart and Pulmonary Doctors for tests and his daughter has asked me to put him on the prayer list. We are trusting in the good Lord to turn this condition around.
I have a prayer request for Kim. He has poor circulation in his legs and the doctors have given him 4-6 weeks before they have to amputate the worse leg.
Please remember a little boy in Isaac's classroom. Isaac says his name is Trey Grizzle. When I got home from work yesterday, I had to pick the boys up in hurry to rush to a ball game. Isaac got in the car and said for me to turn the radio down that we needed to pray for his friend at school. So I did, and I asked him what happened. He said, "Well, we all took turns standing up reading a paper we wrote - What I did over Spring Break. When Trey read his, he said that "What I did over Spring Break was that my daddy died. He ran his car off the road intoa pole." His parents from what I can understand are divorced. Remember, these kids are only 7 yrs old. Please remember little Trey. Thanks, Tabatha
Please pray for Tom who suffered a TIA (mini-stroke) around noon today. He is recovering very well. His cardiac enzymes are elevated and his diabetes numbers are very high. Earlier today he was not able to speak with any understanding and the right side of his face was numb and drooped; he was not able to make a fist with his right hand and could not figure out how to put his shoes on. As treatment and time went on, his speech has recovered and the numbness has gone away. Tonight, I am very encouraged that he will recover with little or no lasting visible damage. Drs have regulated his meds and added another blood thinner, IV, etc. Blessings, Vikki
Update:
I brought Tom home from hospital this afternoon...he has several limitations and new meds and oxygen but he is doing quite well, considering. He will be going back to have veins in neck cleared out. Thank you for you prayers and thoughts. Blessings, Vikki
I need you to add to the prayer list my sister-in-law Pam Ditto and her family. Her parents names are James and Mary Lou Ricker. Their son Greg, who was 45, was found dead in his home by their wife Diane. She called 911 but he had suffered cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. They do not know how long he had been laying there. He had not been able to work due to injuries received while on the police force. There already had been alot of sadness in their family from the shooting death of their son Brian who died at 21, a drug deal gone bad. This happened about a year to a year and a half ago. They still have not had the trial of the ones responsible for his death. They have two other sons, one who is 20,and an alcoholic. This is going to be more of a burden on his wife on top of all they have already had to deal with. I would like for everyone to remember the family in their prayers. Such a sad situation. They have already gone through so much. Thanks. Lisa
I need you to add my daughter-in-law Kristina and her stepdad and sister to the prayer list. Her mom and stepdad were in the Walmart last night in Clarksville, TN when her mom collapsed and died of a heart attack right there in the store. I assume she was already dead when an ambulance got there. So sad. Thanks, Lisa
