Prayer Requests and Updates for May 2007

I have been given a prayer request to send out to our prayer group. The man’s name is Mr. Eli A. Stafford. Two years ago he had Lymphoma Cancer. He just found out that there is a Recurrence of the Lymphoma. May God bless each and everyone of you as you lift this gentleman’s name up to our Heavenly Father. Thanks again, Debbie

Please add my Uncle Gene and his family to the prayer list. My auntJ une passed away Sunday night about midnight. She had Alzheimer'sand other health complications. My uncle is not in good health himselfand this lady was the love of his life. They had been married over 50years. It has been a difficult time for all of the family watching her slip away. Please just keep them in mind as they lay her to rest this week. Thank you, DB

Jeremy is part of a short-term mission team traveling to Dar es Salaam , Tanzania , Africa this July. He is looking for dedicated prayer partners to pray for the success of the team before, during, and after the trip. Prayer is the single most significant aspect of success in reaching others for Christ, and the more prayer warriors there are, the better. Jeremy thanks you in advance for your support.

Please pray for Wendell as he was taken to the E.R. tonight. His body was filled with fluid so they put a tube down his throat trying to get the fluid off as fast as possible. As of now he is in the MICU. His brother was told if they had not gotten him to medical help, he would have died. She has asked that everyone please pray for him. I thank you, as does she, for your actions on this request. May God touch each of you with his loving care!
In Christ’s precious name, Debbie

Please add 2 ½ year old Conner and his family to your prayer lists. Any time that a child is affected, the rest of the family members are also. He was diagnosed today with leukemia. Thanks, Sally
Update:
Here is an update on Connor, the 2 year old I asked you all to pray for. God is awesome, isn't He?!! Sally – his bone marrow test has gone from 90% cancer cells to 4%!!!! Thanks for all the prayers – keep them coming. Hugs, Susan

“Mr. Bad" is a wild cat that Jane has been feeding for years. He is lucky that someone cares for him. Please add him to your prayers as he was hit by a car and is in surgery. (Yes, we pray for all of God’s creatures.)
Update:
“Mr. Bad” is now in cat heaven in the comfort of His arms.

I have received a prayer request and would appreciate it if you would say a prayer for this family. The request is for Gene and Joyce. Joyce had surgery on her back again Friday and is in the hospital. Her husband has some health issues also and needs our prayers. Their daughter, Brenda, is a dear friend of mine. I ask that you also pray for Brenda, as well as her brother and sister, while they go through this trial. I thank God in advance for what he is going to do in this situation and I also thank each of you for obeying God for this request. You will be richly rewarded for everything you do concerning this prayer request. No good deed is overlooked by our Heavenly Father. Thank you again. Your sister in Christ, Debbie
