A couple of weeks ago, Gabriel was moved from Grady to Shepherd Spinal Center. He is being dressed and given therapy everyday, and while there is some response from him (stretching, eyes open at times), he is still in a coma. Please continue to pray for his wife Cecilia and their family.
For those of you who joined us this month, here is the original prayer request:
Dec. 9, 2007 There is a family from Africa who attends our church. They are a wonderful, hard-working family. The father, Gabriel, fell 12 feet from a mezzanine while at work Thursday, and has sustained serious head trauma. He is still unconscious at Grady Hospital in Atlanta. His wife, Cecilia, does not drive. People at our church will make sure she gets to Grady to be with her husband. She walked to church today and slipped into the service a few minutes late, where she sat crying throughout the service. They have a son and daughter at home who are both out of school and working. Please, please pray for this precious family. Thank-you, Elizabeth Withers
