Then Jesus answered and said, " O’ woman, great is thy faith; be it unto thee as thou will." And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. (Matthew 15:28). It was so nice to be at home to celebrate the end of 2007, and the beginning of 2008. We could not help but to look back at where we were at this time last year. Our family was in Atlanta to ring in 2007, as Matthew was being treated at Shepherd Rehabilitation Center . So much was unknown at to where this road to recovery was leading us. Yet, through your faithful prayer for Matthew, the Lord continued to heal him throughout 2007. Thank you for your “great faith” as you prayed for him. Tomorrow (January 7, 2008), Matthew faces another challenge along his road of recovery. He will begin the Spring Semester at Coastal Georgia Community College and has enrolled for two classes. It will exciting for him to walk upon a college campus again, but at the same time, it will very challenging for him. Please pray for him that he will have clarity of mind, and be able to focus on his studies. Considering where we were at the beginning of 2007, it can only be described as miraculous that Matthew now has the opportunity to face the challenge of slowly reentering college again. All glory and praise to God!
For those of you who joined us in prayer after Matt was first put on the Prayer List, he was in a car wreck that involved a head-on collision where the driver, a friend and fellow student, did not survive.
