Cody Update..............November 18, 2009
Cody had his 21 day blood work Monday and it was the BEST yet. He didn't have any in the abnormal range, THIS IS A FIRST, all the other times he had a few that were abnormal, but not by much. He has had the best week and half that we have seen in quite some time. Last week he perked up and was talking more and making little jokes and felt the best we have seen since July. Monday he talked more to the doctor and she was so proud of him that she sat down and just let him talk for a while. (When I say talking, it is still not his normal talking, but it is more than we have had in quite a while). I am taking him to the Health Dept. to get a H1N1 shot, since his blood work was good, I am getting one too if I qualify. We had 2 appointments this week and start his 4th round of chemo on Monday. I scheduled his MRI for Dec. 23rd, that is squeeze time around Christmas, and I have to have the report before we leave that Sunday for Duke again. Everything seems so rushed and lots to do, but we just take it ONE-DAY-AT-A-TIME and try not to sweat the small stuff. I am so thankful that we see improvement in Cody, I really think that the tumors have shrunk this time and he has one more round of treatments before the next MRI so it could really be good this time. We know that everyone's prayers are being answered and that God will heal Cody in time. Have a good day and I will update as I can. The Hallcox Family --I ask that all praise God for this improvement in Cody. God is a healer and HE is worthy of our Praises. Blessings, Deb
