Cody UPDATE.....March 22, 2010

Well, Cody is tolerating his big chemo treatments quite well. He had them last Thursday, appointment was at 9:45 and we did not get finished until 3:00 pm. It was a long day, but Cody' s chemo has to run slow, the first one took 2 hours and the second was around 1-1/2 hours, then all the preparation with extra meds to run in first. It was a long day, but Cody just fell asleep and did just fine. He did get sick on Saturday, but we are giving him several small meals a day to prevent him getting sick.
He will probably be losing that pretty black hair pretty soon, but Cody always wears a cap, so it will be no big deal, he will still be handsome to us. Mrs. Waddle, the Popsicle are working good for Cody, thanks for reminding me of those, if you have any other suggestions on keeping hydrated during chemo or anyone else who is on chemo, let me know, I will try it. It's hard to drink enough fluids when you have to sleep so much.

I took Cody outside some on Friday and Saturday to enjoy the spring weather, he caste his rod a few times for me. I will post that picture on this update.

We will start his 7 days of Temodar on Tuesday and them back for another IV treatment next week. Please keep praying that it is working and that the next MRI will show some positive news.
