CODY UPDATE......JUNE 21, 2010

We made it back home safely around 5:30 today, we left Duke feeling better than when we walked in this morning. His doctor was pleased that Cody's tumors are stable, so he says the chemo mixture is working. He is keeping him on the same thing for the next two months, and then another MRI to see what is going on. We will live our lives one-day-at-a-time, and also two-months-at-a-time. We will do whatever to keep Cody going. I asked the doctor about why Cody cannot even speak a word at times, and he said that Cody's tumors are large and there is not much room between the brain and the skull, and just being in the area that it is at, affects a lot.
Cody was able to talk a little to the doctors and nurses, he was alert and bright eyed even though he had to get up early for his 8am appointment. He slept almost all the way home and is sleeping in the recliner right now.
He will start his pill chemo Temodar tomorrow night, and then go for his IV treatment on Thursday, please continue to pray for strength to get through all the chemo and that it will pay off in the end. I want to report soon that the tumors are shrinking and then someday be gone.
Still praying for a MIRACLE OF HEALING...
