As part of a follow-up, we are heading to NIH tomorrow after church. Ella is scheduled for two MRIs beginning at 11:00am on Monday - one of the brain and one of the spine. After our visit last month, our doctor recommended that we come back in four weeks to make sure everything is still okay. It's hard to believe how quickly four weeks fly by.
As we head into Monday, we ask you to join us in thanking God for Ella's great health and praying that we continue to get great results from these tests. We ask that you specifically pray that everything goes perfectly and smoothly for Ella, that the MRI of the spine is completely clear, that the MRI of the brain will continue to show that the spots are scar tissue, and that the tumor is stable or better.
We are sad to say that Kayla Lucius passed away yesterday. Kayla and her family have brought so much hope and inspiration to many families whose children have been diagnosed with DIPG, including ours. Please keep the Lucius family in your prayers (www.caringbridge.org/visit/kaylalucius). Additionally, with tomorrow being Father's Day, we ask that you say a special prayer for all of the fathers who are grieving and missing their sweet children.
As always, we thank God for all of you who surround our family with love, prayers, kind words and thoughts. It means the world to us!
Love & Blessings,The Newmillers"
