| I had been gone from the hosp. about 30 min. when Albert called to tell me the orthopedist had just been by to tell him the X-rays of his pelvis done today showed NO SIGNS OF INFECTION!!!!! AND THE PELVIS LOOKS GREAT AND HE WILL TAKE THE PINS OUT NEXT TUESDAY!!!!! Albert was thrilled!! And you can probably tell I am too! When we first arrived at NE GA we were told that they might not be able to take care of the pelvis problem there and we might have to go back to Grady for that. But they ARE going to be able to handle it! THANK YOU for praying about this matter. I left Albert in real good spirits and now he's even better! Dr. Dixon says the skin grafting went real well yesterday. Now if they "take" and do as they are supposed to do that will be another hurdle crossed. So that's your assignment now - to pray for the skin grafts. (The teacher in me shows up occasionally). Albert cannot sit up for a few days to let the grafts do their thing so he's taking off from PT this week. Sing with me . . . Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to thee How Great thou art, How great Thou art!! |
